Advanced Shave Formula

The best, especially for anyone with clogged pores or acne. I have tried dozens and dozens (hundreds?) over the years, and this is by far the best. Great non-oily moisturizer. One of the rare moisturizers that have Salicylic Acid in it, and other ingredients for oily skin, clogged pores.

I've used the Advanced Shave Formula for some time and it performs exactly as I would wish. It's slick, doesn't clog your razor, prevents nicks and razor burn, and then washes away effortlessly. I reconsider skin care products often in my quest to find the best, but this one is a constant.

I usually use other drugstore brands because I just want to look well groomed but little did I know that those creams irritate the follicles of the facial hair and they cause more redness , after I started using the shave formula from men science it helped me get the closest shave possible minus the irritation , plus no nicks and cuts associated with other creams due to bad lubrication but this cream helps me get a close shave and the soothing formula makes the blades glide effortlessly , I know even if I went against the grain or shaved in a different direction there will be no irritation so the end result is smoother skin and less irritation . I Know it worked for me so it will definitely work for your skin , also remember to purchase the post shave repair which goes along with this cream for a great shave .

Like many guys, I have a real problem with ingrown beard hairs, specially in my neck/throat area. That in combination with a mild acne problem can really be agitated from shaving and shaving related products. I thought I'd give the Advanced Shave Formula a try to see if it made any difference. I loved the fact that it contains salicylic acid, perhaps the only shave gel I've ever known to. I thought this ingredient alone might help reduce my ingrown hairs, irritation, and breakouts. Turns out, I was exactly right. MenScience really hit a homerun with this product. This, in combination with either a good quality electric shaver, or a single blade razor (forget the 3, 4, and 5 blade models) have all but completely prevented any new ingrown hairs on my face. No longer am I forced to perform minor surgery by digging out curled hairs. This stuff just works.

Have used this product for several years. Prior to using Advanced Shave formula would typically get bumps after shaving. Since using this product rarely ever get bumps and the shave is always smooth with very little shave burn. great product which is why I continue to use it. it works and I recommend you give it a try. best shaving product that I have found.

I enjoy the product. Leave's my face as soft as a baby's butt. Have the best results if I use it on two or more days' growth.

This is an excellent product that has allow me to get a smoother shave - my skin feels cleaner and I know it softer.

I have had ingrown hairs extremely bad since I started shaving. Even though MenScience is higher in cost, I tried it, since I have tried everything else on the market that I have found. I was amazed that even after the first use of the shaving products that the problem had already started taking care of itself. I noticed the red bumps and frankly holes had started healing and any new ingrown hairs seem to just lay on top of the skin, and a pair of tweezers easily plucks them out. I used to have to dig them out a lot of the time, and my neck area always looked terrible. I am writing this review to help you folks, if you have tried everything, and nothing else has worked, then try this product... I will be using it for the rest of my life. It changed my neck from a battlefield of redness, to completely clear in 1-2 uses. I have pictures, I could be the poster face for this product easily!

For years, I have struggled with bumps and in grown hairs after shaving. I have tried many different types of shavers, gels, and other products to try to help with my issue but nothing seemed to work for me. After years of painful tweezing, I decided to try this product after reading about it on the web. I was not very confident, but after only two weeks of using it, the in grown hairs went away. My face seemed my softer which allowed the hairs to grow out instead of in. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought the travel kit and liked most of the products. Im not so sure on this one. It doesn't provide enough protection for my face. It feels like i feel the blade scrape on my skin and i get bad irritation.

got my product this morning and was anxious to try it out for myself after reading all the reviews. the cream is thick and very effective, i shaved above my lip and was surprised i didnt cut myself after passing my blade over and over above my lip, after i washed off the cream my face felt extremely smooth, i was using a different shave cream before but after trying this product its good bye shave cream and hello to my new shave cream menscience, thanks menscience for creating this amazing product, you have now offically got a customer for life

Over 30 years...............a long time to be dependent on how my face looked to face the day. In 3 months, I no longer need to worry about the day. This is not a silly paid endorsement, just the plain truth. Thanks.

This product was absolutely amazing. I shave with a double-edge razor and my face has not felt this good in a long time. Yeah ive tried the other "superior creams and soaps but this by far beats them all IMO. As long as you guys crank this stuff out. Ill keep buying.

I have been combating very fair skin and extremely sinsitive skin all of my life. This is an inherited problem from my Father, which he got from his, etc. In my mid twenties, after my military career, I got a job with the postal service as a mail carrier, which involved being out in the sun several hours a day. I soon began having a rash on my face, arms, and the back of my neck. After lots of tests, my doctor diagnosed my problem as photo dermatitus(sp). In short, this is an allergy to the sun, which I learned is a very common skin disorder here in the sun belt where I live. Shaving has always been a nightmare due to the sensitive areas on my face and neck. To help you to understand, this rash, if allowed to go unchecked it was a great deal like poison ivy. The shaving would make this worse and the razor no matter what kind I tried caused a very bad burn and rash on my neck. Your product has been, so far, a God send for me. I can shave now without the burning and stinging from the razor. Believe me, I have tried everything that I could find whether it was prescribed by a doctor or over the counter. The only thing I haven't tried is wet shaving with an electric razor. This is how I found your product, during this research. Without question the BEST shave cream I have ever used. I have tried many of the foamless creams and always end up with cuts. NO cuts or nicks with Advanced Shave Formula. I only wish they would offer a scented version with a light minty, eucalyptus, or citrus type scent. That would be truly awesome and would definitely enhance the shaving experience. Are you listening, MS?

Unlike the other Menscience products I've recently purchased, it worked fine but it didn't "WOW" me. And for the price I paid, I expected more.

Stuff is great! This is the most comfortable/ closest shave I have ever had. One of the big plus's is that I dont always have time to take a long hot shower to soften up the hairs before I shave. I can simply moisten my face, apply the shave formula, let it sit for a few mins, shave and its still comfortable. When I do have time to take a long hot shower to soften the hair, and use this stuff, its like there's no hair on my face at all. I have been recommending this stuff to all my friends...

I bought the shave formula for my husband because he was getting so many ingrown hairs from shaving. It would take him 30 minutes in the bathroom just to try to get them out, plus it was painful. Since using the advance shave formula, it softens the hair and makes shaving so much easier and cleaner. He no longer has to pluck hair from his face after shaving. Poor guy. Lucky me, now I can get the bathroom to myself a lot sooner. Thanks so much. He loves all of your products that he has bought so far. And believe me,he has bought a lot. And I am the one that got him started, now thanks to the samples you send with the products that he buys he always wants to try something else.

Unbelievable product. I use an electric rotary razor and I demand to have a product that will allow me to shave comfortably and quickly every morning. I use the product, rinse off and then shave. I have tried several foams and soaps trying to find the right combination of a close shave with as little irritation as possible. When I decided that I would try the ADVANCED SHAVE FORMULA, I was hoping for a bit better results than the other products that I have used. But to my surprise, ASF had met all my expectations and well beyond. My face is looking better, I have less irrtiations and bumps, and I just ordered to more. Excellent product!!!!

I love this stuff. I have used products from just about every company and I love how this leaves no after film or greasy feeling. To those who think is too expensive how much are you using? A small amount rubbed in the hands applied to a wet face goes a long way. You don't need lathering or even to see its there. The one tube lasts forever.

Wow!! After shaving with this remarkable product I apply a tiny amount all over my face then gently rinse. It eliminated ingrown hairs in just a few days!!! This product was an accidenttal discovery. The ingredients are the key components that make this product special. Bravo!!

I bought this product thinking that it would be something exceptional, but my expectations were too high. It works fine, but I can't say that it stands head and shoulders above any other. It was expensive. So, since I can get the same results with other, less expensive brands, I'll be going with those.

Decently priced, will last a while!

I've always had a problem with cutting myself, or getting bumps while shaving. I don't have sensitive skin, and I use a very high end electric razor. I decided to try this product, and WOW!!! I was truly amazed. I can now look forward to shaving. It was worth every penny, MenScience you've got a customer for life!

Best shaving product ever. Here is something you can do to reduce usage. Mix with you standard shave cream. Put light layer of the Advanced Shave Formula, then layer your favorite shave cream foam (not gel) on top. That way, you get the best of both worlds.

i have only ever used soap or shaving foam. i have never used a gel/oil. its weird getting used to it, but it is great. my skin is smooth and not irritated, i don't really have to use a after shave or anything. face and HAIR are actually softer!
